Jet Transition and
FlexJet & NetJets Interview Prep

Walk into your FlexJet or NetJets interview having practiced a jet sim profile, the flows and the crew callouts. We help you prepare at our Flight Training Center in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Fractional and Corporate Jet Prep

Get Ready for Your Jet
Interview and Sim Evaluation

Jet transition training for pilots moving into fractional and corporate flying. If you have a FlexJet or NetJets interview coming up, we'll help you prepare for both the conversation and the sim evaluation, so you walk in ready.

In our simulator you'll practice a jet sim profile, the flows and CRM with an instructor working beside you as the other crewmember. We debrief after every session, so each one builds on the last.

For the interview itself, we run mock interviews with technical and scenario questions and give you honest feedback on your answers. You'll prepare with a team led by our founder and chief instructor, an airline pilot and ATP. Solid Ground Aviation is not affiliated with FlexJet or NetJets.

  • Sim profile practice: Fly a jet-style evaluation profile until it feels routine.

  • Flows and callouts: Build clean, repeatable flows and standard crew callouts.

  • CRM: Practice briefings, task sharing and clear communication with your instructor as the other crewmember.

  • Interview prep: Mock interviews and feedback for FlexJet, NetJets and other fractional or corporate jet jobs.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens in a FlexJet or NetJets pilot interview?
Formats vary and change over time, and the instructions your recruiter sends are always the final word. Many fractional jet pilot interviews mix a conversation about your experience, technical and scenario questions, and a simulator evaluation, so we prepare you for each part.
What does the sim profile prep cover?
We build a jet-style profile around skills sim evaluations commonly test: your instrument scan, approaches and go-arounds, abnormal procedures, flows and crew callouts. You fly it, we debrief it, and you fly it again.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your recent flying and how soon your interview is. Some pilots want one refresher before the big day, and others prefer several sessions spread over a few weeks. After your first session we'll recommend a plan.
Who is jet transition training for?
Pilots stepping up to jets. That includes commercial pilots applying to FlexJet, NetJets and other fractional or corporate operators, and piston or turboprop pilots who want jet-style flows and CRM before their first jet job.
